I feel like Crabdad would be one of the parents who would be overly excited that their kids are going to prom, and would take a million pictures of them.
(Karkat is one of those little boys who doesn’t know how to dress well for school events, so his parent has to dress him up for him, but his parent doesn’t know how to dress his kid well for school events either, so you just end up with a kid in his dad’s suit with his hair gelled like some sort of tool. (Except that Crabdad doesn’t wear suits, because he’s a crab.))
